Payment Policy

We keep our fees to a minimum to make the meditation workshops accessible to all, but we also ask registrants to commit to the process by paying in full, in advance. Space is limited, and it's not fair for us to to turn down eager applicants when less committed registrants drop out after a few sessions and demand a refund. We consider eight weeks to be a minimum “try-out” period, and ask that you give this unfamiliar process the time it deserves.

We also ask that all cheques be sent well in advance of the starting date, and that all last-minute payments be made in cash. This keeps our administrative overhead to a minimum and avoids any possible complications.

Buddhist centres in the West often charge administration fees for the facilities and other overheads while insisting that the teachings themselves are 'free.' We prefer to fix a clear price and make a simple transaction. Our fees are very reasonable, and we are open to appeals by anyone in difficult circumstances.

We issue receipts for all payments.

Thanks for your understanding,

Stephen & Caroline
